　　(1)Reliable connection:Polyethylene pipeline system is connected by electrothermal fusion,the strength of the joint is higher than the strength of the pipeline body.Polyethylene pipeline is connected with other pipelines by flange,which is convenient and fast.

　　(2)Excellent impact resistance at low temperature:polyethylene has very low temperature embrittlement temperature and can be safely used in the temperature range of-60~60 C.In winter construction,because of the good impact resistance of materials,brittle cracks of pipes will not occur.

　　(3)Excellent stress cracking resistance:HDPE has low notch sensitivity,high shear strength,excellent scratch resistance and outstanding environmental stress cracking resistance.

　　(4)Excellent chemical corrosion resistance:HDPE pipeline can resist the corrosion of various chemical media,and the chemical substances existing in soil will not have any degradation effect on the pipeline.

　　(5)Aging resistance and long service life:polyethylene pipes containing 2%~25%uniformly distributed carbon black can be stored outdoors or used for 50 years without being damaged by ultraviolet radiation.

　　(6)Good wear resistance:The wear resistance test of HDPE pipeline and steel pipe shows that the wear resistance of HDPE pipeline is four times that of steel pipe.In the field of slurry transportation,HDPE pipeline has better wear resistance than steel pipe,which means that HDPE pipeline has longer service life and better economy.

　　(7)Good flexibility:HDPE pipeline flexibility makes it easy to bend,engineering can change the direction of the pipeline to bypass obstacles,in many cases,pipeline flexibility can reduce the amount of pipe fittings and installation costs.

　　(4)Replacement of cement pipes,cast iron pipes and steel pipes:For the reconstruction of old cement pipes and cast iron pipes laid in the city,HDPE pipes can be directly inserted into the old pipes without large-scale excavation,which has low cost and short construction time,and is especially suitable for the pipeline transformation in the old urban areas.
